NOTE: In preparation for the special and elaborate exhibition “Branding the American West” at Stark Museum of Art, the Museum will be closing some galleries. Beginning January 23, we invite the public to come by to view Gallery 4 (Arts of the American Indians) and the many objects located in wall cases in the Lobby and the open corridor. Stark Museum of Art Hours of OperationOpen Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday, New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day, The Museum closes at 2:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Children under age 12 are welcome to visit the Museum, but must be accompanied by an adult.
AdmissionThe Museum will continue waiving general admission charges! That’s right… free general admission. All guided tours will still follow the regular fees and must be scheduled in advance.

Stark House, which is located one block from the Museum. For more information on The W.H. Stark House, please see starkculturalvenues.org/whstarkhouse. The Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation honors active duty military and their families by providing free admission to them at the Stark Museum of Art and its partners, The W.H. Stark House and Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, throughout the year. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the Museum and its partners participate in the Blue Star Program, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families.
