When you celebrate Mother’s Day weekend, join us throughout the week for tours at the House and Moms or motherly-figures receive a free gift.
Families are invited to experience special tours and will have the opportunity to bring children ages 6 and older for these guided tours, which include the Tower Room and the new exhibition The World War I Home Front: Orange Goes Over the Top. Admission is: $5 for seniors (65+), students (all ages, with current I.D.), and children (age 6-17); $6, adults (age 18-64). Stark Cultural Venues Members are free.
Tours for this week are designed for families to enjoy this very special occasion to celebrate moms. Tours begin at the Carriage House located at 610 W. Main Avenue, adjacent to The W.H. Stark House and start at 9 am. The last tour begins at 4 pm.
We suggest visitors arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled tour to obtain tickets and secure items in provided lockers.
Wrap-up the week with a very special and informative program, How Does Your Garden Grow?. Explore the past and present gardens at the Stark home led by Jennifer Buckner, Horticulture Specialist at Shangri La Botanical Gardens.
